I am Ly Ai Dung,Tung's sister and Co Cuc Hoa classmate. First, I wish you a very healthy and prosperous New Year. Secondly, I and my friends, specially my classmates, we all really appreciate for you guys giving us a chance to reconnect again in this wonderful Reunion Party. We all got excited and emotional. Words can not say thanks enough. This will be another remarkable day in our memories when we're getting older just as some marvelous days in the good old days in our dearest hometown. Last, we're so grateful to have this website to make contact and get information for all Khai Minh Alumnus and Teachers. And most of all, surprisingly to find so many talented people of all kinds. 大家好！今天我很感動見到這麼多啟明老師與校友來參加今晚的聯歡會、我們榮譽請到八位董事、四十五位老師、今晚總共參加人數大約有九百多位來賓。
使我高興與感動的兩件事是：
第一：可以請到這麼多位啟明董事與老師、使我們可以對老師說聲感謝教導之恩。
第二：是見到許多啟明校友、雖然離開啟明母校多年、但大家還是這麼團結、親切、對啟明母校還是念念不忘、深情厚誼、無論遠近也回來參加這個盛會、真是件難得的事。
這裡也多謝主辦單位、他們出錢出力、給我們這個珍貴見面的機會、多謝參加今晚表演歌舞助興的各位校友、各位服務的風紀隊員、台前幕後默默幫助我們的校友、及各位幫助我們售票的商號、最後更多謝來參加今天晚宴的貴寶與校友、如果沒有你們的擁護與支持、晚會也難以辦成、雖然付出很多的時間、精力、與籌備工作多月、但見到你們這麼高興、也使我們感染到那份興奮、快樂、與得到極大之鼓舞。
後面還有更精彩的節目、請大家不要離開、這是很難得珍貴的機會和校友師長相集、請大家留到最後一分鐘。

謝長利先生致詞 (Lee Ta speech)

諸位貴寶、鄉親、諸位老師、親愛的校友們大家好！
今天是二零零五年元旦的第一天、我很高興見到芽莊各界人士、老、中、青在此共聚一堂、也使我回憶卅年前、芽莊啟明學校首創舉辨首屆越南中區十三省藍球團結杯、可見當時芽莊的董事們與各界商家們團結合作的精神、有錢出錢、有力出力、使全越南的華人對芽莊啟明學校及芽莊各界有很深刻的佩服與讚許。
十年樹木、百年樹人、越南芽莊從中華小學到啟明中學、是中華文化的搖藍、一代又一代、承先啟後、培育出各行各業的精英專業人士、商場成功人士也不少、所以我們要飲水思源、要感恩前人種樹、要感謝前前後後的芽莊董事們熱烈的贊助和支持。
芽莊可說是人傑地靈、氣候宜人、白白的沙伴著長長的海岸、是越南的沙鄉、憶自越南淪陷、芽莊各界紛紛移居世界各地、今天各鄉親能放下工作、近千人士匯集到羅省共歡聚一堂、參加新年聯歡、真使我高興萬分及感動、也很溫馨、我希望各鄉親、老師、校友們、應把握著現在這幾個寶貴小時的見面、盡情開懷擁抱、唱歌跳舞、我也不忘提醒我們芽莊啟明的精神、是團結更團結、希望年年有機會一路辦下去。
最後、我僅代表大會熱烈歡迎大家到此共聚聯歡。

諸位來賓、諸位芽莊啟明董事與師長們、諸位親愛的啟明校友。

今天我們非常高興和感動地看到芽莊僑胞們、學兄學姐們、學友們、當然還有非常敬愛的老師們、共聚於一堂、共同慶祝新的一年、機會難得、意義重大、特些謹代表主辦大會向諸位恭祝、新年快樂、身體健康。

自南越失手淪陷、易主換政、芽莊僑裔亦陸繼地向海外各國移居、我等啟明學生自離開越南、瞬間將臨三十年、為生計忙碌、為前途奮鬥、異鄉創家立業、殊非易事、然而同學們皆能在各種艱難挑戰環境中、刻苦奮鬥、期待地日在其等服務崗位上、有卓越成就、許多同學大成小就、可以說是老師的功勞、如此碩果之功、乃老師們長年累月教導之所賜也！

遙想當年、老師把人生貴重的年華、都奉獻於培育芽莊華裔子弟身上、以“培育為本、樹人為根”之宗旨、灌溉中華傳統文化、禮義廉恥、諄諄訓導、日複月繼、年更一年。新弘舊貌、一代又代地培育、從未倦怠、期望所磨之石、皆成良玉、能為社會國家有所貢獻、心滿意足矣！而對本身得失、絲毫無計、此敬業樹人的精神、非語言所能表揚！

我等啟明學生、深蒙母校培育、老師授業載培、受益良多、感恩之深、難以言喻。師生等遠赴他鄉、師長、校友、一別三十年、不管在何處、生活多繁忙、尤其夜闌人靜、憶校懷師之情難以形容、勢若澎湃、時時難克！

幸蒙我等師生、今宵共聚一堂、歡度新年、藉此之機、一能解渴學生懷師之念、也趁這新年聯歡、讓我代表啟明全體校友們以萬分謝意、謝謝您、老師們、給于寶貴的教導為學生鋪好了前途基礎、家長們給于無限的支持、董事與僑胞建校設屋給我們有個舒適美麗的學習環境、使我們有機會學習祖國的文化有個快樂成長的童年。

讓大家一起向新的一年邁進、把母校啟明學校的偉大精神發楊光大、也希望將來有更多的機會、我等師生與校友能多長聚、道安問好、團結互助

諸位貴賓，諸位老師，親愛的校友們！
一元復始，萬象更新，春回大地，今天是越南芽莊啟明中學，校友們舉辨二零零五年春暨師生聯歡晚會。

碧慶很榮幸代表同學們上來向今晚出席的貴賓，老師們，校友們，恭致謝詞，而表示最親切的問候！

在這高興歡快來臨的日子裡，給干同學們能有機會共聚一堂，聯絡感情，互通境況！是的，各級各班的老同學們，想起在母校下的樂趣，難忘往事，那段學生的生涯中，令同學們都有非常美好的回憶！不管大家當年唸高小，或初中生，或高中生，大家也有多多少少的”不同”-----不同的生活方式，不同理想觀念，和不同的現況或將來的期望，但我們都是同出自一個終生難忘的母校-----啟明！校友們由於緬懷母校的裁培，師長們的教導，培育無數人才與精英，母校啊！”您”是多麼的偉大，多麼的可愛，多麼的美麗，老師呀！您們的恩德如天一樣高，如海一樣深，您給了我們不少的知識，給了我們人生溫暖及力量，使我們有了今日的成就，如有人在當醫師，工程師，律師等等！有人在商場上成功的也不少，致于大家有了今天的成績，都是母校和師生們付出的努力與精神，校友們，讓我們不同的工作上繼續不斷的努力，開創我們美好的明天，做出更好！更美！更多的成績來回報我們的母校與老師們！

I'd like to share my thoughts and feeling about the big event of KhaiMinh's High School, the first Reunion New Year Party on 01/01/05 at Hilton Hotel with all of us and for those who did have a chance to attend. This is not only my own thoughts and feeling but it's the majority since I have known so many different groups from old to young, we were all having a fantastic and magnificent memories which would last of the lifetime.

We'd like to appreciate the KhaiMinh's Party Organizers and all the people who are involved in organizing an extremely successful, marvelous and fantastic party of the lifetime. This was a great opportunity for a lot of people who live as far as Vietnam, Canada, Europe, Australia and all states of USA get together and especially lots of our beloved teachers whom we have not seen after 40 years, it's just unbelievable event. We were so moved and impressed by seeing our teachers. We all love to talk about the beautiful memories in the good old days, beautiful good old days in small town of NhaTrang. Everybody was so excited and impressed by seeing each other; some could not even recognize each other until further introduction. I got there at six o'clock on time but the parking lot and the lobby of the ballroom was so crowded with all familiar faces and it was so noisy. Big smile, happy and surprised on everyone's faces by meeting friends, some friends that they did not expect to see for 30, even 40 years, what a spectacular and impressed scene. I have never seen before in my entire life and I am sure everybody feels the same.

The program of the party was so exciting and interesting, we had all the teachers come on stage for award recognition and to show our deep appreciation for long years teaching us, most of the teachers were at the party, only a few were not healthy enough to attend. For the entertainment we had good Karaoke singers, especially the lovely lady sang " Shang Hai Tan", two gorgeous young MC spoke so good in Mandarin which bring attention to everyone. Live band with famous singers like Tuan Dat who sang very good mandarin songs, a young couple Phuong Trinh, Bang Kieu and famous singer Thu Phuong who has very strong voice and exciting performance.

The extremely most memorial event was the Chinese Classical Opera played by Chung Bich Phung and Ta Quoc Hung who had spent lots of time and energetic energy into this performance. This was the very special and unique play of the Chinese culture. Their performance was so fantastic and marvelous; beyond our expectation, especially all of the teachers were so moved and happy to see their performance. They both acted like the real one and remind us the great love of " Luong Son Ba and Chuc Anh Dai ", the great love beyond space and time. Their costumes and make up were so fantastic, her appearance in fascinating costume surprised everyone. Her singing and her movement like real "Chuc Anh Dai", that was an extraordinary and awesome performance. This significant performance reminds us the Chinese culture in VietNam, a very unique and famous Chinese school in NhaTrang. They both were warmly welcome and mostly wanted to have pictures taken with many tables in the ballroom with costume on. This entertainment was the great success and imprint in everyone's memories about KhaiMinh's High School Reunion Party. The party resumed again in the park next morning with all the teachers and lots of students attended, we all chat a lot and did have a great time together and many other groups that I know also continued to have party at friend's house on Sunday. What a great event !!!

I hope we should have KhaiMinh's School Reunion Party like this every 2 years. It's extremely difficult to get everyone together like this, it's an awesome event. Once again we'd like to express our thanks to the organizers and people who contributed to the successful party.

Wishing you all have a successful and prosperous year 2005.
